National Youth Advisory Council

We’re pleased to announce the formation of our inaugural national Youth Advisory Council!

The Youth Advisory Council will represent the youth voice in Conservation Nation’s decision-making processes for education, outreach, and communications. The Youth Council will also act as student ambassadors for Conservation Nation, helping to inspire diverse current and future conservationists to join our movement to save wildlife and the planet.

Conservation Nation selected nineteen youth in grades 9 – 12 from across the United States with passion for various conservation issues including water pollution, climate change, and species protection.  Youth Advisors are leaders in their own communities and include Gold Award Girl Scouts, International Baccalaureate and National Honors students, student organizers, performing and visual artists, team captains and club presidents, peer mentors, and non-profit volunteers.  The Youth Advisory Council will serve for the 2021 – 2022 school year.
