National Youth Advisory Council

The Youth Advisory Council represents the youth voice in Conservation Nation’s decision-making processes for education, outreach, and communications. The Youth Council also acts as student ambassadors for Conservation Nation, helping to inspire diverse current and future conservationists to join our movement to save wildlife and the planet.

2022–2023 Youth Advisory Council

This year we welcome 25 youth ages 15 – 19 from 13 states and Washington, DC. Their interests include wildlife conservation, climate change, marine conservation, environmental justice, ecofeminism, and the intersection of public health and environmental policy. Youth Advisors are leaders in their own communities and include Gold Award Girl Scouts; International Baccalaureate and National Honors students; leaders in Future Farmers of America; volunteers at zoos, aquariums, and community environmental clubs; student organizers; performing and visual artists; school club presidents; state and national youth board members, and athletes.

The Youth Advisory Council will serve for the 2022 – 2023 school year.
