As our funding allows, Conservation Nation is pleased to cover the cost of bus transportation for DC-area Title I schools that plan nature-based field trips using our Educator’s Guide to Exploring Nature in Washington, DC. We estimate giving grants of $500-1,000 depending on school needs. Please fill out this form to let us know of your interest and needs, and we will contact you.

The kids loved seeing the lions up close! The bus transportation was amazing! For a lot of the kids, it was their first time at the zoo, so thank you for allowing them to have that experience.

Students from Kramer Middle School enjoy meeting Curator Craig Saffoe on their field trip to the Smithsonian's National Zoo.

NOTE: Conservation Nation is not sponsoring or leading these field trips. We are simply providing the funds to cover transportation costs. The school must sign the contract with the bus company and be responsible for the field trip. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
