Deandra Jones, a dedicated conservationist, focuses her PhD research on black bears within the Navajo Nation. Recently, she was awarded the opportunity by Field Inclusive to attend The Wildlife Society’s national conference, where she presented her work for the first time. This opportunity, generously funded by Conservation Nation’s Chrysalis Fund, highlights the importance of her efforts in raising awareness about the black bear population in this region.

You can read more about Deandra’s research and the significance of her attendance at the conference in the blog post that first appeared on Field Inclusive.
